Behind the program
The Youth in Food program was initiated by Ghana Food Movement (GFM) in partnership with Green Africa Youth Organisation (GAYO) and sponsored by the Dutch Embassy. The first cohort of the program, formerly known as Youth in Agribusiness Program, started in January 2022. Since then, the program has been a great success and a third of the participants got employed after their traineeship. Ghana Netherlands Business and Culture Council (GNBCC) has now joined as a partner to support the development of the upcoming program.
